President speaking against the constitution will be against his office: Hamid Khan

ISLAMABAD: Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Hamid Khan has said that it would be against the position of the President to speak against the Constitution. Talking to Naji TV, he said that the demand for a full court is not appropriate. Earlier, the decision was taken by a five-judge bench, it is appropriate that a five-judge bench should be formed.

Hamid Khan said that the constitution says that the parliamentary committee will decide who to vote for. He said that there is no role of the establishment in the constitution, whatever has to happen must be within the constitution. The former president of the Supreme Court bar said that it would be against the position of the president to speak against the constitution. He said that the President should tell where the role of the establishment is written in the constitution.
